Taking inspiration from our closets and the latest in Italian high fashion, Barbara Hawthorn Interiors, Ltd. found metallic, sparkle, and shine to be a major influence not only today but also throughout the decades. Inspired by this year’s latest Prada steel and crystal stilettos (featured in August, 2007 DC Modern Luxury) and a classic decades old Prada metallic sequin evening bag – both from Barbara’s own collection, the design team was instantly drawn to the Snaidero and Fendi Casa showrooms.
The innovative EcoSmart fireplace is like a freestanding piece of furniture designed with a flue less burner and a double sided opening. With a glass panel, this unit offers the ultimate flexibility to move the fire anywhere that suits your living environment. With the suspended TV and the 2 sided fireplace; crossing the line from the indoors to the outdoors just got a little easier…
In cooperation with The Washington Design Center, Barbara Hawthorn Interiors Ltd. is creating a space that will take fashion to the next level in the home – a kitchen and garden area that is functional glamour and fantasy for everyday life.
