After viewing the film ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, LA real estate Tom Schey started to conceive different ways in which to educate society about reaching environmentally conscious choices. He then created project7ten.

project7ten has built a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum (Top certification level) house in Venice, CA. To earn this certification, you must first meet all prerequisites for what constitutes to be a ‘green building’. It is because of these prerequisites that Schey chose to include the EcoSmart™ Firebox 900DB.

The Los Angeles crowd has already shown interest in the new residence with celebrities including John Cusack, David Duchovny, Cindy Crawford, Toby McGuire, and Gabrielle Recce making an appearance at the project7ten opening event.

All profits will be donated to various not for profit environmental based charities, with a bulk amount directed to Healthy Child Healthy World - an organization dedicated to protecting the health and well being of children from harmful environmental exposures.
