Living with nature! The client wanted to create an Exempted Village Home in Fanling, Hong Kong so that the occupants can Live with Nature.

This house is designed from the inside, the exterior is a reflection of the interior. The whole project is to demonstrate how we can live with Nature and to reduce the impact on the environmental issue - to reduce heat gain; no opening towards the west of the house and fully glazed wall on the east side with sliding door that can be completely open for ventilation.

With the invention of the internet, the owner can now work at home to reduce travelling and the 2/F is designed as a home office.

Lastly, the fire place uses ethanol an organic produce, a renewable energy, with no harmful fume to the environment.
