Visionary Australian architect John Dimopoulos has a clear philosophy: he likes to put the ‘fun’ back into function. It’s certainly evident in his inspired design of the EcoSmart Zeta, a vital and enormously popular model in the EcoSmart Fire Collection.

John, who holds a degree in architecture from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), has more than two decades’ experience gained with renowned architectural firms in Australia and Greece. His portfolio encompasses the design of award-winning single dwellings, corporate fit outs such as Disney Channel Australia, commercial premises, and multi-million dollar high-rise residential towers. In addition, John shares his knowledge and experience with new generations of architects as a part time design and construction tutor at UNSW.

A member of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, John is at the helm of geoform design architects, an integrated architectural studio which provides a combination of architectural and interior design services, ensuring a complete spatial solution. At the firm’s core is its focus on site-specific, intelligent and environmentally driven architectural responses.

And John admits that “there is more scope for design satisfaction from creative exploration on a personal level from site and client.”
